High-Speed Injection Molding Machines

Used high-speed injection molding machines for thin-wall containers, lids and cutlery: accumulator-assisted injection, cycle-critical cooling, inspected under power.

Thin-wall containers, lids and cutlery are won on injection speed and cycle repeatability, not on clamping force. These machines run accumulator-assisted injection, faster toggle movements and tighter cooling.

Injection speed firstFill time, not clamp tonnage, is what decides whether a thin wall packs out.
Accumulator assistedHigh-speed injection usually needs an accumulator circuit and the pump capacity to recharge it.
Cycle-critical coolingChiller capacity and mould temperature control set the real cycle time, not the machine alone.
Mould-side matchedEjection stroke, platen size and tie-bar clearance have to suit a stack or high-cavitation tool.

High-speed machines in stock

Every machine we list has been inspected under power in our own workshop. Ask for the inspection video of any one of them.

Nothing in this category in stock right now

High-speed machines move quickly and we source them to order rather than holding them. Send the part, the wall thickness and the cycle you need and we will tell you what is available and when.

What to get right in this category

Quote the cycle, not the tonnage

Tell us the part, the wall thickness and the cycle time you are targeting. A machine that clamps the tool but cannot fill it in time is the wrong machine.

Check the accumulator and pump

Injection speed depends on the accumulator, the valve and the pump that recharges it. All three are measured during inspection.

Watch the toggle and guide rails

High cycle counts wear toggles, pins and rails first. Those are the parts we look at hardest on a fast machine.

Budget the cooling

A fast machine with undersized chilling is a slow machine. Tell us your current chiller capacity and we will say whether it is enough.

Questions buyers ask

How fast is “high-speed”?

It is defined by the part, not a number on a brochure. Give us the wall thickness, the flow length and the cycle you need and we will work back to the injection rate required.

Can a standard machine be converted?

Sometimes. An accumulator can be added to some models, but pump capacity and valve response set the ceiling. We will tell you honestly whether a conversion gets you there.

Do you supply the stack mould?

We can quote the mould alongside the machine. Send the part drawing and the cavitation you want and we will price them together.

Other machine types

Tell us the part, we will tell you the machine

Send the part you are moulding and the destination port. We come back with what is in stock or what we can source, a condition report and a shipping quotation.
